Saint Louis University is a private, non-profit, independent, multi-campus, international institution offering a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Founded in 1915, Saint Louis University’s home campus is in Saint Louis Groves, Missouri, USA, a major suburban center of the St. Louis metropolitan area. Saint Louis University also offers programs at extended campus locations throughout the United States, including military education installations and metropolitan centers, international programs in Europe, Asia, and Africa, and online distance learning programs in a large number of academic disciplines.

Saint Louis University is academically organized into five schools and colleges:

Not all degrees and majors are offered at every Saint Louis University location. A schedule of courses for the academic year is available at all Saint Louis University locations that offer degree programs.

For students in the state of Florida, the catalog shall constitute a contractual obligation of the school to the student and shall be the official statement of the school’s policies, programs, services, and charges and fees.

Every effort will be made to keep students advised of any such changes. The student is responsible for knowing graduation requirements for his or her degree program.

Enrollment in Saint Louis University or completion of a degree program does not guarantee employment. Career services are available to students at most U.S. campuses. Saint Louis University makes no claim or guarantee that credit earned will transfer to another institution.

Saint Louis University works with an independent certified public accountant to assure that there is sufficient funding through a tuition guaranty bond. Governance

Saint Louis University accepts in principle that the governance of the University is a shared responsibility of administration, faculty, and students. Administrators provide executive continuity; faculty and students participate in governance mainly through the constituent assemblies and the work of committees. The latter provide for constructive interactions among administrators, faculty, and students.

Organizationally, the Board of Trustees oversees all activities of the University. Leadership is headed by the President, who is responsible for determining the overall strategic direction and priorities for the University. The Provost, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer is Saint Louis University’s chief academic officer.
